How Concord Began
Doug Robinson entered the roofing industry in the early 2000s after working in professional sales. He was initially hesitant to enter a trade that sometimes carried a difficult reputation. A trusted mentor encouraged him to look at the industry differently: an honest person who brought integrity and accountability into the roofing business could be a breath of fresh air.
That advice helped shape the company Concord would become.
Doug began by helping friends, family members, church members, and local contacts with roofing repairs and other property needs. Those early projects allowed him to build experience, establish a dependable reputation, and grow the company through personal referrals.
Rather than relying on high-pressure sales tactics, Concord built relationships by educating property owners, communicating honestly, and doing what it promised to do.
Decades of Construction Experience
As Concord grew, Ted Hogue brought decades of hands-on construction knowledge to the company. Ted began working in construction as a young man and developed experience across a wide range of trades, building methods, structural challenges, and property improvements.
Doug's background in roofing, customer service, and project development combined naturally with Ted's extensive construction experience. Together, they built a company capable of managing much more than a traditional roofing project.
That partnership remains one of Concord's greatest strengths. Customers receive the benefit of experienced roofing knowledge combined with a broader understanding of how the roof, exterior, structure, and interior of a property work together.
